Hi everyone, at the moment I am making lots of doll size clothes and accessories. Mainly Barbie size dolls. My photos are not the best and may be difficult to see how tiny they are.
I found this easy to follow tutorial on YouTube for a tiny bag keyring to crochet. So I thought that this bag would be a great Barbie size Beach Bag. Quick and Easy to make. There is no pattern with the tutorial so I have written it down to share with all of you. Please share photos of your finished bags. Click Here for video Tutorial Written Pattern Cotton Crochet Thread Size 5 Crochet Hook Size 1.75mm Place marker (sc = single crochet stitch) Row1. Magic Ring. 8sc into ring. pull closed. Place your marker once this is completed so you know where the start of each round is. Make sure that you either move the marker or add an additional one at the end of each round. Row2. 2sc into each stitch. Do this all the way around. Row3. *1sc into the 1st stitch, 2sc into the next stitch* continue with this sequence all the way around. You should have 24 stitches at the end of this round. Row4. 1sc into each stitch all the way around. Row5. *1sc into 1st 2 stitches, 2sc into 3rd stitch* continue all the way around. You should have 32 stitches at the end of this round. Row6 to Row11. 1sc into each stitch. Row12. 5sc, chain 10 (this will be one handle), skip 6 stitches and sc into the 7th, 10sc (which includes the stitch you just did to attach handle), chain 10, skip 6 stitches, sc into the 7th, 5sc (which includes the stitch you just did to attach handle). I found this cute Bolero pattern on FaveCrafts which states it is a Patons pattern. Even though this is an easy item to make, the pattern is flawed. I have found that it has missing instructions and sections without endings. It was fine until I got to the Sleeves, Edging and Construction sections. I did search online to try to find the correct pattern but this was the only website I could find it on. So, I decided to go ahead and make this cute Bolero for a special little girl in my life. I will give you the instructions that I think are missing plus provide photos. This pattern covers girls sizes 2yrs to 10yrs. Here is the link for the main pattern Click HERE Below (click on link below this line) are photos of the Bolero I made and corrects to what I found.
